The Dales Women's Institute

Founded in 2007, The Dales WI has around  60 members. Meetings are normally held on the 3rd Tuesday of each month at Bloodmoor Hill Community Centre, Dale End, Carlton Colville, starting at 2.00pm. Visitors and new members are always welcome.

Our programme  is varied with lots of interesting, informative and entertaining events. We now have a membership of 60 women from the locality.

Apart from the monthly meetings when we have a speaker, we also have a lunch club which meets bi-monthly. The next lunch is at Rookery Park Golf Club in May.

The weekly craft club is a perfect platform for those members handy with a needle to polish up old skills and learn new ones. We will be holding an exhibition of our work later in the year.

The Dales WI have an annual inter-club Quiz in May which promises to be fun and entertaining. In June to celebrate the Queen’s Jubilee we’ll enjoy a cream tea.

Regular outings are organised and in the last year we have been to the Sandringham Flower Show, on a Wroxham Boat Trip and on theatre visits.

The monthly meetings are held on the third Tuesday of each month at 2.00 at the Bloodmoor Community Centre. New members will be made welcome. It’s an ideal opportunity to make new friends, hear some interesting, informative talks and maybe even learn new skills.
